“Saguaro: The Life and Adventures of Bobby Allen Bird” is the first novel by Carson Mell, a Hollywood based filmmaker and artist. It is an illustrated expansion of the short cartoon “Bobby Bird: The Devil in Denim” which screened at CineVegas and the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2006 and will shortly be published on the third issue of the DVD magazine “Wholphin,” published by Dave Eggers’ McSweeney’s.

“Saguaro” is a faux memoir of classic rockstar Bobby Bird.
